In conversation with
Sophie Borgeaud

and Jean-Marc Pernon

Sophie Borgeaud's career has been an interesting and varied one. Amongst other things, she has worked in French television, worked for Fortune Magazine in New York, and as a studio actress in the Los Angeles Theatre. She has also been a tour manager for artists including Harry Belafonte, Lou Reed and Rickie Lee Jones. Sophie's blues singing has been described as being intimate and interesting, much in the manner of the old-time blues singers.

Sophie Borgeaud teamed-up with guitarist Jean-Marc Pernon to make an album called 'The Best Of Love'. Rob Godfrey went to Sophie's home in the Charente-Maritime to talk about the album, and Sophie and Jean-Marc's lives in music.

Mandie Davis acted as the translator during the interview.
